Automate work with AI agents, without writing code
A SelfAgentic workflow chains your agents on a canvas. Each agent step gets the output of the step before it plus its own instruction, steps can run side by side, and a final step can turn the result into a LinkedIn post that waits for your approval. Run it with a click, or start it with a Schedule block.

The building blocks
Input
The brief the run starts from: a topic, a list or a question. Save it with the workflow, or type it when you press Run.
Start
“Brief Received” starts a run when you press Run. “Schedule” starts it on its own: once, hourly, daily or weekly.
Agent steps
Any agent in the project, with an instruction for this step. It works with its own tools and memory, and passes its result to the next step.
Turns the text it receives into a LinkedIn post and queues it in your Approvals inbox. It is posted once you approve it.
How a run works
- 1Write the brief in the Input block, or when you press Run.
- 2Each agent step receives the output of the step before it, plus its own instruction.
- 3Steps that do not depend on each other run at the same time.
- 4You watch each step’s status and result on the canvas. A scheduled run notifies you when it finishes.
Workflow or schedule?
| If you want | Use |
|---|---|
| One agent doing a job on a timer, with the result posted to a Slack channel | A schedule |
| Several steps, each building on the one before | A workflow |
| A LinkedIn post drafted from a brief and approved by you | The LinkedIn Post workflow template |
Examples
- Brief
- Writer agent
The ready-made LinkedIn Post template: the agent drafts a post from your brief, and it waits for your approval.
- Schedule · daily
- Research agent
- Outreach agent
A morning prospecting run: one agent finds and scores leads, the next drafts first emails and logs both to a Google Sheet.
- Schedule · weekly
- Research agent
- Analyst agent
A weekly review: the first step gathers what changed, and the analyst writes ranked themes into a Google Doc.
Limits
What this does not do yet, so you know before you rely on it.
- No decision blocks or loops yet: steps run in the order you connect them.
- A workflow starts from a click or a schedule. It cannot be triggered from outside SelfAgentic by a webhook or an API call.
- LinkedIn is the only publishing step today. Anything else an agent produces goes where its tools put it, such as a Google Doc or Sheet.
- Each step’s result shows on the canvas while a run is open. Past runs list their status and input, not step outputs, and a scheduled run’s notification previews only the start of the result, so have the last step write to a Doc or Sheet.
- Running more often than daily needs the Pro plan. A manual run stops if you close the tab; scheduled runs keep going on our servers.
Questions about workflows
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You drag blocks onto a canvas, connect them, and write each agent’s instruction in plain English.
Can a workflow run while I am offline?
Yes. Put a Schedule block at the start and it runs on our servers, daily or weekly on any plan and hourly on Pro, then notifies you when it finishes.
Will a workflow post without asking me?
Not by default. Its LinkedIn step queues the post in your Approvals inbox, and Meta Ads changes are refused inside workflows.
