A Meta Ads agent that reads the numbers and asks before it spends
Connect Meta Ads and an agent can read your campaigns, results and audiences, then propose changes: pause or resume a campaign, adjust a budget, create an ad set or an ad. Every change waits for your approval in web chat, anything it creates starts paused, and a change to an existing budget is capped at 20% by default.

What an agent can do with Meta Ads
Reads performance
Campaigns, ad sets, results and audiences, so you can ask what is working in plain language instead of building a report.
Proposes changes
Pause or resume campaigns, change budgets, create or edit ad sets and create ads, each one shown to you before it happens.
Creates paused
New campaigns, ad sets and ads are created paused, so nothing starts spending until you switch it on.
Limits budget moves
A change to an existing campaign or ad set budget is capped at 20% by default. A new campaign can be given any budget, but it starts paused.
How to connect Meta Ads
- 1Go to Integrations in your dashboard and connect Meta Ads.
- 2Sign in with Facebook and approve access to your ad accounts.
- 3Choose which agents may use it.
What needs your approval
Changes happen only in web chat, after you approve them on a card. Scheduled runs and Slack can read your numbers but refuse to change anything, and tell you to finish the job in chat.
Things you can ask it
“Which campaign had the worst cost per result last week?”
Reads the results and ranks your campaigns by cost per result.
“Pause anything that has spent without results since Monday.”
Lists the campaigns it would pause and waits for your approval on each.
“Every Monday, summarise last week’s spend.”
A scheduled run reads the numbers and writes the summary. It never changes a campaign.
Limits today
What this integration does not do yet, so you know before you connect it.
- Ad spend is billed by Meta directly, not by SelfAgentic.
- Changes cannot be made from scheduled runs or Slack, only from web chat.
Questions about Meta Ads
Can the agent spend money without asking?
No. Every change waits for your approval in chat, anything new is created paused, and a change to an existing budget is capped at 20% by default.
Who pays for the ads?
You pay Meta for ad spend, as you do today. SelfAgentic’s plans cover the agents’ work, not your media budget.
Can it optimise campaigns overnight on a schedule?
It can review them on a schedule and tell you what it would change. Making the change takes your approval in web chat.
