What the agents do
The weekly competitor brief
An agent on a weekly schedule searches the web for what your competitors shipped, priced and announced, and posts the brief to your Slack channel.
Campaign briefs from ad results
With Meta Ads connected, an agent reads campaign results and writes the brief: what is working, what is not, and what it would change. Changes wait for your approval in chat.
Posts in your voice
The Social Content agent drafts LinkedIn and Instagram posts, can make the image (in chat, once you agree the brief) and holds every post for your approval.
What changed this week
Agents keep notes between runs, so you can ask the weekly brief to lead with what changed since last time and why it matters.
What your team ends up with
- A weekly competitor brief, written and posted before standup
- Campaign briefs drafted from your Meta Ads performance
- Content drafted in your voice, held for approval
- The "what changed and why it matters" summary, every week
An example run
- Schedule · Monday 8am
- Market Researcher agent
- Brief in Slack
Set it up
- 1Create an agent from the Market Researcher template and tell it who your competitors are.
- 2Connect Slack for that agent, invite it to your marketing channel, and allow that channel in the agent’s Slack settings.
- 3Add a weekly schedule, for example Monday at 8am, and choose that channel for the results.
- 4For social posts and ad briefs, connect LinkedIn, Instagram or Meta Ads and grant them to a Social Content agent.
What needs your approval
By default, every LinkedIn or Instagram post and every Meta Ads change waits for your approval. Research, briefs and Slack replies go out without one.
Limits
What this does not cover yet, so you know before you set it up.
- Agents read the public web and the files you share. They do not log in to SEO or analytics tools; share an export instead.
- Choosing a channel for scheduled briefs limits that agent to its allowed channels in Slack, and it stops answering direct messages.
- Ad changes are approved and made in web chat only. A scheduled run reports on campaigns but never changes them.
Questions
Can the brief arrive in Slack on its own?
Yes. A schedule can post each run’s result to a Slack channel the agent is allowed in, so the brief is waiting before standup.
Will it post to our social accounts by itself?
Not by default. Every post waits for your approval: on a card in chat, or in your Approvals inbox for scheduled runs.
Can it write in our brand voice?
Tell it how you write once, with examples. It keeps those notes in memory and uses them in later drafts, and you can edit what it remembers.
